A new construction project is taking place at one of the last undeveloped spots along the River Thames. Lombard Wharf will be built at Lombard Road in Battersea, incorporating 135 apartments and providing a new example of innovative residential architecture in London. There’s been a lot of attention on this project due to the unusual “twisted” shape the finished tower is going to have, thanks to its wraparound balconies. It’s being designed by local architects Patel Taylor, and is set to be completed in 2017. One of the most exciting things about this new tower is the fact that it will have a BREEAM Excellent Rating.
