Exploring the Barking Riverside and its residential architecture
Barking Riverside is one of the largest regeneration projects in the whole of London. The site stretches two kilometres along the Thames and will ultimately become the location of a brand new neighbourhood. Outline permission was given in 2007 for a plan to build 10,800 homes in four stages. On top of this new schools, healthcare facilities, commercial spaces, public squares, and community spaces will be created. Continue reading
